Glove box handle lock mechanism ( Original Proton )

Brand : Original Proton

Price : RM50 ( with installation )

Warranty : None.

This flimsy lock mechanism is also another common fault found among Savvy. I myself have encountered this once. Do not pry open the glove box as this will cause further damage to the glove box ( misaligned ). I've even seen customer's cars who got damaged by supposedly "professional" mechanics, but still couldn't manage to remove it. I can remove it in matter of minutes.

Engine mounting complete set ( RH,LH & RR )

Warranty : None.

Engine mountings are to be changed periodically after 2~5years depending on usage and also how the car is handled. Good quality engine mounts which can last for quite a long time, but yet again depends on how the owner handles the car.

This is the original power steering switch meant for our Proton Savvy. This is also a common problem found on Savvy. The symptoms are easily detected. Power steering oil basically empties itself after 1~2days. Look at the floor, there's a pool of hydraulic fluid there, then yes chances are its the power steering switch.
